RoHS, which is the acronym for "Restriction of Hazardous Substances", is a directive from the European Union (EU) that restricts the use of six substances in new electrical and electronic equipment that are placed on the market by July 1, 2006.
All Printed Circuit Boards (PCB's) that are produced by Asia Printed Circuit (APC), namely embedding Immersion Tin, Electrolytic Nickel and Gold, Organic Solder Preservative (OSP), Electroless Nickel Immersion Gold (ENIG) have been tested in accordance with, and meet the requirements of, the RoHS Directives 2002/96/EC, conforming that the materials below are FREE from Pb, Cd, Hg, CrVI, PBB or PBDE.
